About Wesworx
About Myself and my Goal
I have always had a passion for working with my hands.
Located in the heart of the Canadian prairies in Saskatchewan I was exposed to woodworking at an early age.
Life has been my training, and experience has been my guide. I have never created the perfect piece, but am always in pursuit of it.
When working with wood, it feels like I'm right where I was meant to be.
Whenever possible I try to use locally harvested materials.
In Saskatchewan we have an amazing variety of trees.
I harvest unwanted, dead fallen or damaged trees that would otherwise end up being burnt or disposed of in a landfill.
Not all of the woods I work with are available locally, however I do my best to support local and Canadian products I do my best to ensure that proper and ethical forestry practices are used by my sources, and do not involve the damage of the worlds most beautiful and endangered forests. At Wesworx, my goal is to provide a sustainable, high-quality product to enhance your home.
I strive to use environmentally friendly materials as often as possible and processes to minimize my impact on the planet, while delivering exceptional craftsmanship and design to my clients.
All of our finishes on our products that come in contact with food are also natural and food safe.

- It all starts with a tree. When possible I harvest fallen and unwanted trees, some of which have been storm damaged or are at the end of their growing life.
- At this point I carefully select the logs that will provide me with the best quality lumber to produce your projects

- Every cut is like opening a new door. What lies inside brings a smile to my face knowing I am seeing something for the first time that no one else has seen before, and that I will be able to pass this on to someone else.

All of the materials used are ensured to be dry and are acclimated prior to using. this insures the material is as stable as possible to prevent warping, twisting or deforming in any way in the future
